Biographical Statement
John Moffitt Stewart was born on March 14, 1890 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to John and Amanda Stewart. At some point he relocated to St. George, Utah where he was a photographer. He married Vida Elizabeth Riding on February 8, 1921 in St. George, Utah, but they divorced within two years. He died on November 21, 1960.
