This collection consists of eight photographs originally part of a scrapbook documenting various aspects of student life at Dixie Academy and Dixie Normal College in Saint George, Utah, when the school was growing and developing rapidly.

The photographs show students who participated in a play, an operetta, the basketball team, and group photographs with school spirit memorabilia. The photographs from the scrapbook are part of the original Special Collection and Archives material. The photographs were removed from a scrapbook of black construction paper for preservation on October 12, 2012.
