Dixie College.

This collection consists of Dixie State University’s annual reports of the accomplishments from the years 1920-2018.

The Dixie State University Catalogs are comprehensive guides to Dixie State academics between 1912 and 2017. These catalogs show the progression from a high school to a teaching school to a university over the years, the changes in the school’s name, and descriptions of the classes offered.

This collection consists of news clippings, press releases, negatives, and photographs about Dixie State University from 1938-2015.

This Dixie Sun Photograph collection contains the photographs, negatives, and proofs produced by the Dixie Sun News organization during the years 1965-2001. Many of the photographs appear in the publications of the Dixie Sun newspaper, as well as the Dixie State yearbooks.

The Faculty and Staff Newsletters collection consists of the newsletters: English Department, Roundtable, Staff Association and Vantage Point published by Dixie College for the Faculty and Staff at Dixie College in St. George, Utah. The collection is from 1990-2013.

This collection pertains to the events surrounding getting approval for Dixie College to transition from a two year to a four year institution, first from the Utah Board of Education and when that failed from the Utah State Legislature.

This collection consists of awards, commencement, correspondence, events, Higher Education General Information Surveys (HEGIS), news clippings, photographs, President Wade’s personal, reports, speeches, subject files, and Utah State Board of Higher Education (USHE) collected by President Alton L. Wade during his term as the 13th president of Dixie College [Utah Tech University] (St. George, Utah). The materials date from 1976-1987.

This collection consists of awards, Board of Trustees, campus buildings and properties, commencement, correspondence, events, faculty and staff, meetings, news clippings, pamphlets, President Huddleston’s personal, reports, subject files, and Utah State Board of Higher Education (USHE) collected by President Robert C. Huddleston during his term as the 15th president of Dixie College [Utah Tech University] (St. George, Utah). The materials date from 1993-2005.

This collection consists of correspondence, commencement and baccalaureate speeches and invitations, events, Higher Education General Information Surveys (HEGIS), news clippings, newsletters, reports, speeches and multiple subject files collected by President William Rolfe Kerr during his term as the 12th president of Dixie College [Utah Tech University] (St. George, Utah). The materials date from 1971-1980.

This collection includes a letter from Dixie College alumni addressed to the Dixie College graduates of 1953, a program for the Dixie Junior High School First Annual Program (1937), two undated copies of the Woodward Jr. High Student Handbook, and one Woodward School Restoration Pledge Card (2000).
