Scope and Contents

The David Lambert topological maps collection documents the geographic area of Utah and neighboring parts of Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, and Wyoming from 1906 to 1997. Some of the maps focus on geological formations and contain a legend of rock types. The bulk of the material are Utah quadrangle maps from 1906-1996, accompanied by an index map. The U.S. Geological Survey created and/or published most of the maps. The U.S. Forest Service and Atomic Energy Commission also contributed.
