Hurricane (Utah)

The Hurricane Canal Company collection covers the years 1893-2002 and holds the records of the Hurricane Canal Company, historical records of the town of Hurricane, and records of the Bench Lake Canal Company.

The papers of Leo Alva Snow cover the years 1870 through 1962 and include documentation of his school years, engineering career, role as county surveyor, his activities in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, as well as business records and photographs.

The Murdock Aerial Photography collection contains photographic proof prints, negatives, slides, and CDs of Southern Utah and surrounding areas created by Clinton and Joan Murdock from 1982-2005, primarily for use by local planning commissions and companies developing in the region.

The Southern Utah & Northern Arizona Road Association collection consists of one original handwritten ledger and loose papers documenting the road improvements of the Southern Utah & Northern Arizona Road Association between Hurricane, Utah and Fredonia, Arizona. The collection is from 1914-1922.

The Superior Sugar Beet Growers Association records span the years of 1933-1943 and contain financial records, business records, and correspondence.

This collection contains the records of Washington County, Utah government departments from 1870 to 1957.
