The All That Was Promised research papers consist of research files, photographs, correspondence, and drafts by Blaine M. Yorgason, Douglas D. Alder, and Richard A. Schmutz in writing their book All That Was Promised, about the history of the St. George (Utah) Temple. The book was published in 2013.

The Cleone Davenport Newspaper collection consists of full newspapers, newspaper clippings, and photographs from the St. George, Utah area collected by Cleone Wallis Davenport. The collection ranges from the 1870s to late 2010s.

Scope and Contents From the Collection: This collection documents Blaine M. Yorgason, Dr. Douglas D. Alder, and Dr. Richard A. Schmutz’s research in the history and building of the St. George Temple in Southern Utah, built 1871-1877, and the early pioneers that settled in Southern Utah. The bulk of the material collected in their research is undated, but includes primary sources from the late 1800s, and more recent secondary sources. This file contains digital copies of materials used by Heber Jones for a lecture on the history of the St. George Temple, including photographs of slides, lecture text and references, and a supplemental audio of Moroni McArthur, George Miles, and A.K. Hafen. The lecture was given to the St. George Utah East Stake High Priests [of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints] on March 20, 1977.

The William Fawcett journal consists of William Fawcett’s personal writings in an original handwritten journal from 1855-1887. The journal was transcribed in 2015.
